Vintage Quarter 14 Midget Race Car  2100$

Picture
This is a Vintage Crosley Powered Quarter Midget Race Car or Quarter Midget Sprint Car. This is actually a Race Car and not a Go Cart. This car was assembled sometime in the late 1950s or early 1960s. It was raced in and around Ohio for a few years and was hidden away in a garage for many more. The Car has a Steel Frame and a Fiberglass Body. It is powered by a 4 Cylinder Crosley Engine. This is a 1940s or 1950s Vintage Crosley Engine and pre-dates the car. The Car has a custom fabricated Header and a Marine Style Intake with 2 Carburetors. The Car is direct Drive and has no Transmission. There is a Sprocket on the Crank Shaft that drives the Rear Axel. When this car is running, it is moving! The Chain is removed, to make rolling easier. The Car has a Hand Brake on the Left Side. The Radiator is located at the Front of the Passenger Compartment near the Foot Pedal. There are some extra Tires and Wheels that go along with this Car. They were found with the Car and were probably part of the Racer's Pit. Unfortunately, I do not have any pictures or any of the racing history of this Car. It was raced as it now sits bearing the number 67. This is truly a unique find. I do not know how many of these old Racers are still around, but there can't be many.  This would be so cool in your garage or displayed in a Bar or Game Room. It could also be raced in a vintage racing circuit. I am posting good pictures that show the true condition of the Car.
